If you are still fairly new to taking CBD products and you’re interested in finding the right product for accessing your dose, you will likely have to consider between a few different dosing options. You can buy edibles, topical’s, tinctures and more. This is a massive market that is completely unregulated and it can make finding information difficult.

CBD oil is currently legal in 50 states and understanding the difference between CBD oil and a CBD tincture for purchase can make sure that you get access to the right dose for your needs. When you see these products online and the language is often used interchangeably to describe tinctures and oils.

There are a few differences between these types of products. Both options are fairly similar and they come with bottles and droppers. But there are differences in the configuration of the dose between them.

CBD oil is produced using an extraction process that removes oil from the flowers of a hemp plant. CBD comes from strains that are low in thc and the oil will contain CBD that has been extracted using CO2 extraction or a butane extraction.

Tinctures are a product that is a liquid extract. Manufacturers of Tinctures soak up all of the organic hemp matter with a alcohol and water solution. Over a few weeks the natural compounds are soaked into the solution and then the liquid is strained through a filter to make sure that there’s no plant matter inside the tincture. The materials that you find in the tincture are the compounds that are suspended in oil.

You can dose using a tincture and many tinctures contain VG which makes them suitable for vaping.

There really isn’t a big difference between these two methods and their potency. Choosing a CBD oil can often be beneficial if you plan on baking as alcohol does not mix well with facts. Tinctures are often preferred for people that want to take the dose orally as it can have a more pleasing taste.
